Community Services
BCMW is here to help individuals and families facing housing instability. We offer several programs to assist with rent, security deposits, and supportive services.
This program is for homeless individuals and families. The program helps with security deposits and up to six (6) months' rent. This program also offers supportive services such as daycare, utility deposits, transportation and more. The goal is for the families or individual to work with the case worker to set goals that will eventually allow them to be self-sufficient and maintain the housing on their own.
Eligibility is based on a family or individual's ability to prove an economic hardship and ability to prove means to continue to pay rent if assistance is received. Past due rent, first month's rent, security deposit assistance, and utility assistance are available through Homeless Prevention.
This program provides funds for temporary shelter and food assistance. This is available to those who are homeless with no other means of acquiring a place to stay.
The program will assist with Security Deposit, 6 months of rent and last month's rent as well as supportive services needed to become self-sufficient. The client will have intense case management and set goals for themselves.
Feel free to visit during normal business hours or contact us to learn more about housing assistance.
